Featured Heritage Outcrosses For Sale By Other Breeders

Before the formation of the Tennessee Walking Horse Heritage Society in 2003, and its subsequent definition of what marks a  Heritage Walking Horse in our Society, all of the Heritage breeders had crossed some of their mares with stallions that were popular  in their respective areas of Tennessee, or in some cases, within the larger breed group. Although none of the stud colts were retained for breeding purposes, a number of the mares proved to be excellent producers of quality pleasure stock, and are still used within the broodmare bands of the farms where they were foaled. Since the foals of these mares can never be established as Heritage Walking Horses due to their modern bloodlines, their offspring are being offered on this page as Heritage Outcrosses. These foals and mature horses are blessed with the nice walking gaits and gentle dispositions of their Heritage parent, but their bloodlines are not as unique, as they are found more readily throughout the Tennessee Walking Horse breed.

As a service to other Heritage breeders, the Heritage Society has developed this page so they can advertise their  Outcross horses.

Wind's Notorious (Diesel) is a smokey black colt by Go Boy's Windwalker and out of Touch of Black Gold making him a Heritage Outcross. His sire is a 5 time natural NPWHA flat shod Champion that has produced many using TWHs for field trial, hunting and trail pleasure. His dam is by Black Hills Dreamweaver (by Supreme Versatility Champion He's Black Hills Gold) and out of Miner's Touch (by Supreme Versatility Champion The Gold Miner). Diesel was born extremely friendly, curious and willing which endears him to everyone as he prefers attention to food    or treats. His dam is over 16hh  and his sire has large bone so we expect him to be a rather large horse. Very laid back and nice way of traveling. Diesel will make a nice horse for any discipline. Riding Horses & Others For Sale

The following horses are being offered for sale by Most Stock Farm. Breeder/owner Suzanne Most has dedicated most of her life to the walking horse that performs a running walk based on talent inherited from      proven bloodlines of horses bred to walk, not perform an artificial show gait.

NH TIME TO REBA 965811

Black mare foaled 4/20/96, by Smoke's Big Time W., an Ebony grandson out of a Gunsmoke's son daughter. She is a tall, strong-boned mare with a big backend. Produces championship caliber babies.

Her dam Parader's Rose carries forward the Hall Allen bloodline through her second, third, and fourth dams, all either granddaughters or daughter of Hall Allen. J.L. has strong bones and a great backend. The sabino foal at her side is sired by a non-sabino stallion, to show the sort of color she produces. Open to breed to the stallion of the new owner's choice.

POKEY'S BONNIE 20208443

This young chestnut daughter of Most Stock Farm's late Pokey Possum blends the double lines to

Midnight Mack K. from her sire with the show lines of Senator's Moonraker by Ebony's Senator and Triple Threat. She is a gentle mare that anyone can manage. Like the other two mares, she will remain at the farm until the foal is weaned, but any of the mares and foals can be taken to a breeding farm this summer.

PRINCE TONEY 20901949

This yearling gelding is by the stallion I Found Gold and out of a mare called My Name is Rosie.

I Found Gold is a Pride's Gold Coin grandson with two crosses to Sun's Delight, one to Triple

Threat, and one to Go Boy's Invasion. This colt's dam was sired by Pokey Possum and is a full sister to Pokey's Bonnie. The colt is gentle and moves nicely at liberty. Halter trained. The guesswork about gelding is not an issue with this youngster.

Thunder’s Midnight Domino AKA Flag

 (TWHBEA # 20507957)

Meet Thunder's Midnight Domino, a Heritage Outcross filly born in 2005. Sired by Northwoods Thunder Walker, her dam is Beauty, shown in the Heritage ad higher on this page,  and she is about a month old in the photo accompanying Beauty.  Flag now stands 14.3 hands and is a great trail horse with very light mouth, only needing a shankless snaffle to do everything. She’s first at the fence to greet you. I rode her as a very green beginner but now am selling my horses due to age and a broken leg. (NOT from a horse accident) Flag’s original ad had her priced at $2500.00 but I have reduced the price to $1750.00. Compared to the equal horses on the Internet, I think you would agree this very reasonable price and expect she will sell soon. For more info. contact me, John O’Brien, at jfobrien@myclearwave.net.  Located in Oronoco, Minnesota. As with Beauty I can give you a YouTube site soon to see her on the trail.
