Not all the horses pictured are 100% Heritage bloodlines. From time to time some of the Heritage breeders cross their stock with the more popular, sensible, well-gaited show lines to get the best of both worlds. If you have any questions regarding the horse you may be interested in, please contact the owner for more information.
Heritage breeders may have other horses for sale that are not listed on this site at the present time. Since our site is undergoing construction and updates, you may want to contact the breeders to see what else might be available for sale.

Meet Midnight's Powder Puff #20803658, born 5/3/08, sired by Sun's Smokey Midnight, out of Wilson's Ruby Roan. This is a big girl at only a year old! She is a real pocket pest and followed everyone around the farm. She is priced at $1500.00. In the photo below, she glommed onto Nancy Bergman during a recent visit to Danny's farm. Nancy is 5'3" tall which gives you an idea of how big this filly is! If you like riding a tall horse, don't pass up this girl.
Heritage Outcross Yearlings & Older For Sale
Before the formation of the Tennessee Walking Horse Heritage Society in 2003, and its subsequent definition of what marks a Heritage Walking Horse in our Society, all of the Heritage breeders had crossed some of their mares with stallions that were popular in their respective areas of Tennessee, or in some cases, within the larger breed group. Although none of the stud colts were retained for breeding purposes, a number of the mares proved to be excellent producers of quality pleasure stock, and are still used within the broodmare bands of the farms where they were foaled. Since the foals of these mares can never be established as Heritage Walking Horses due to their modern bloodlines, their offspring are being offered on this page as Heritage Outcrosses. These foals and mature horses are blessed with the nice walking gaits and gentle dispositions of their Heritage parent, but their bloodlines are not as unique, as they are found more readily throughout the Tennessee Walking Horse breed.

For those who have dreamed of buying and developing a flat shod show filly of unique color, Confederate Hills Farm presents the 2007 maximal sabino Society's Ice Princess.
This snowy-coated lady is the result of crossing the chestnut sabino stallion SOCIETY'S DAN ALLEN with the light, very flaxen sabino mare ROYAL'S MERRY DEE. The resulting filly has a chestnut basecoat with maximal sabino white which should guarantee the sabino gene in all her foals, providing a stallion is not selected that has been proven to be sabino-resistant.
ICE PRINCESS is a product of show horse breeding. Her sire's grandsire was the big, bold chestnut show stallion SOCIETY MAN, who won the three year old stallion World Championship (considered junior horses at the time) in 1943. Very few living walking horses trace to SOCIETY MAN on the top line, and this filly is one of them! ICE PRINCESS is out of ROYAL'S MERRY DEE, a daughter of the late, great PRIDE'S ROYAL MASTER and a SOCIETY MAN great-granddaughter. The filly's third dam was sired by RED BUD'S RASCAL, giving her a double cross of this old, Allen foundation line as well as two crosses to Society Man.
ICE PRINCESS has good conformation. She has the shoulders to use her front legs well, with plenty of natural loft, and she has a strong back end. She will make a nice pleasure mare, in addition to being a fine show prospect. Color, conformation, gait, and pedigree will be her attributes in the breeding shed. Don't overlook this fine filly which blends two prominent Heritage bloodlines with the modern show lines from PRIDE'S ROYAL MASTER.
